As a ballet and jazz teacher and former principal ballet dancer, Srebnik brings a unique perspective to painting dancers--understanding their significant lines, balance, movement and gestures. Adding this dimension to his knowledge as anatomy instructor and figure painter, makes dance a natural subject for him.

Many of these dance paintings and ballerinas were pas de deux ballet partners during Srebnik’s performance career.

New paintings of ballerinas, dancers, ballet rehearsals, dressing rooms and backstage scenes are coming soon.
